On approaching Bridport, take the right lane and then 4th exit at the Crown Inn roundabout. Follow this road (B3157) for approximately 1 mile. As you enter West Bay, go straight on at the mini roundabout & follow the road round to the right with the harbour on your right. Take the first right (by the food kiosks) and proceed towards George Street. To gain access to Sunset, park and walk over the bridge to the Riverside Restaurant.
Take the first exit at the roundabout next to Southgate Mitsubishi. Follow this road for about a mile. Then take the 2nd exit at the Crown Inn roundabout and follow the directions above to West Bay.
Parking is free in George Street behind the pub or otherwise in one of the car parks around West Bay – the nearest being outside the George, opposite the bridge. The cheapest being the big car park at the top end of George Street only £2 per day and also the car park opposite the old Railway Station (now Tea Rooms). Parking from 2nd week in July is free in the field behind the chalet at the customers own risk and also weather permitting. After rain the field can get very waterlogged so would advise parking first opposite George Pub and checking field in order to avoid any damage to your car.

To park in field turn right off West Bay Road when you see the Company called Bridec on the left. The gates to the field will be opposite and are used in the summer months for camping (Brit Valley Campsite). Go in a straight line past the campers and the fairground – curve left and you will see 4 chalets and the back of the restaurant. Sunset is the wooden chalet next to the restaurant. Gate to the chalet at rear.
If parking in other months, then it is best to drive straight into West Bay. Look for the George pub as you curve around the harbour and park in the car park to unload. Go over bridge the to Sunset.
